Supporting growing families is my passion. I understand how joyful, but also overwhelming it can be to welcome your little one into your life.
Parents want only the best for their precious babies. With all the well-meant advice that comes from family, friends, media, books, and the internet, it can feel impossible to figure out what is truly ideal for your child. I strive to give parents the non-judgmental support and science-based knowledge they need in order to make the right decisions for their unique family.
I offer companionship and non-medical advice on breast, chest & bottle feeding, pumping, newborn care, recovery from birth, gentle sleep coaching, as well as physical and mental development of your baby.
As a certified Pre- and Perinatal Psychology Educator, my focus is to support optimal bonding and a smooth transition into parenthood for the whole family.
I'm based in Berkeley and serve the greater San Francisco Bay Area as well as Marin. I'm experienced with twins, preemies, adoption, low birth weight, syringe & tube feeding and postpartum depression.
I'm an LGBTQIA ally. It is important to me to create a welcoming and safe space for all my wonderful clients.

"What I like most about Annika is her philosophy. She was extremely emotionally connected to our baby, and really believes in meeting babies where they are, never pushing them. She is quite gentle and loving, yet also created a great routine that optimized our baby's ability to thrive with healthy feedings and good sleep."
